WHITE FLEET BUS DRIVER

Contract Terms: Ten Months

Salary Classification: Classified FLSA non-exempt

Reports to: Transportation Director

Position Objective:
Assists the transportation department by transporting students to and from school.
Performance Responsibilities:
? Performs pre-trip inspection of a 14 passenger bus.
? Transport students to NAVIT (Northern Arizona Vocational Institute of Technology) programs
located at Northland Pioneer Campuses in Snowflake, Taylor, Winslow, Holbrook and Cholla
Power Plant.
? Transport students on am/pm routes.
? Tracks mileage and student rosters.
? Keeps the bus clean and maintains a safe environment for students.
? Maintains discipline on the bus. Prepares discipline reports if necessary
? Performs post-trip inspection of the bus and reports any maintenance problems to Lead
Mechanic.
? Other duties as so assigned.
Qualifications:
? High School Diploma or equivalent
? IVP fingerprint clearance card
? Certification in first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation, current physical, clean drug
screens, personal physical test clearance
? Good driving record –MVR report
? Pass background investigation
? Ability to lift at least 30 pounds
? Must be willing to work flexible hours: both morning and afternoon
